While sitting and waiting on the sunset at Dauphin Island I noticed this young sandpiper prancing the shore. Grabbing the telephoto lens I lucked up to get this shot as he was trying to outrun a breaking wave to the shore.
Early one morning with the fog rolling in I had assumed my day was shot for taking photos. But that's when I told myself, it's time to get creative. This shot of the sitting area around the pool is one my most popular shots today.
This is the boardwalk leading to Bald Rock on Mt. Cheaha, meaning high place. Some Creeks called it a "Sleeping Giant". When walking to boardwalk to Bald Rock you are walking on the "Shoulders of a Giant".
